How to Use Alt + W + F + F in Google Sheets
- Add the ShortieCuts extension to Chrome and open any Google Sheet.
- Select the cells you want to work on (if the command needs a selection).
- Press Alt (or Option on Mac). Excel-style key-tips appear over the sheet.
- Press W, F, then F. ShortieCuts runs Freeze Panes, just like Excel.
Google Sheets normally makes you freeze rows and columns separately from the View menu. ShortieCuts does both in one stroke, based on the selected cell, and pressing it again when both are frozen unfreezes them.
