FAQ
What is the keyboard shortcut to group objects in Google Slides?
Group: Ctrl + Alt + G on Windows; ⌘ + Option + G on Mac. Ungroup: Ctrl + Alt + Shift + G on Windows; ⌘ + Option + Shift + G on Mac. These are Google's own shortcuts and work without any extension.
Does Alt + H + G + G work in Google Slides?
Not on its own. Google Slides has no ribbon key-tips, so typing Alt + H + G + G there won't group objects. With the ShortieCuts Chrome extension installed, press Alt (Option on Mac), then H, then G, then G, and ShortieCuts runs its "Group" command.
